Thanks to nearly all teams for sorting out nearly all the payments that need to be made. Here is some latest information about registration at XEUCF 2009.

1. Changes to number of players
Luckily we have - until now - been able to continue allowing changes to team rosters/numbers/etc. This week we will have to make firm commitments to the catering supplier regarding numbers.
We will no longer be able to do refunds or accept changes to the number of people in your team/group after MONDAY 14th SEPTEMBER
2. 3rd Party Liability insurance
We were instructed by our insurance company that we must make it compulsory for all players to have 3rd party liability insurance before competing at the tournament. We are pleased to say that they have confirmed today that they are willing to relax this position. We understand that some countries/teams/players were having problems with this situation. Please accept our apologies. The position is now as follows:
- As the organisers of the event, UK Ultimate does of course have liability insurance.
- The UKU insurance does cover UKU members, but we cannot extend this to individuals that are not UK resident. Competitors should note that the competition is NOT providing liability insurance for individual competitors. This is a matter for National Federations, the clubs that are competing, or the individual player.
- UKU and XEUCF Organising Commitee *strongly* recommends that all players competing in this event should have 3rd party liability cover and travel insurance. However, it is not mandatory that you have these insurance products in order to compete.
3. Team Registration and Captain's Meetings
Registration will start on Wed 23rd from 17:00 - 20:00 at the Tournament HQ (at Harlington Sports Ground), and will continue throughout the morning Thurs 24th Sept from 7:30am. Teams that owe money are expected to pay any outstanding money before playing.
Captain's Meeting:
Some teams may not arrive in time to attend a meeting on Wed evening. Some teams - playing in the first game on Thursday morning may prefer to deal with Registration and Captains meeting the day before.
We will run three captain's meetings. Team captains are free to decide whichever meeting is most convenient to them. The options are:
Wed 23rd, 19:00 - Tournament HQ
Thur 24th, 07:30 - Show-pitch seating / grandstand
Thur 24th, 09:30 - Show-pitch seating / grandstand
Our goal between now and then is to make sure that you have all the information you need so that Captain's meeting will be incredibly short.
