Would you like to volunteer to work at XEUCF 2009?
Depending on the amount of time and involvement volunteers are able to offer the tournament they will receive volunteer-shirts/jackets, meals, access to the tournament social events and of course the love and gratitude of all the players. Unfortunately we are not in a position to pay for your accommodation, but you will of course have access to the same local hotel deals as all of the players.
We realise you might not be able to be involved for all four days – but even half a day might be exactly what we need! So please don’t be afraid to come forward. As part of your involvement, you will receive food and drink to keep you going throughout the day, an invite to the social events, free camping, the chance to watch some cracking ultimate and most of all, you will be part of a team who make sure all the competitors get the best tournament experience we can offer.
We will need support in all areas of the event: staffing the fields, working in the tournament shops and bar/restuarant, supporting competitors with information, writing stories for the tournament newsletter, and probably plenty more. We are also inviting local schools and members of the public to come to the tournament for some introductory coaching and the chance to see some top European ultimate - and will need help supporting these visitors.
